The Ferrata Storti Foundation is a non-profit organization aimed at stimulating and promoting the study of and research on blood diseases and their treatment. Its legal status as a private foundation was recognized trough a decree of the President of the Lombardy Region, Italy (n. 11-R-83; law passed February 2, 1984).
